This is a link to the current catalog where you may register online to leave an absentee bid only.
Up to 24 hours before an auction, if you wish to register for absentee bidding, you may do so conveniently online directly through our current catalog by clicking here. Simply follow the instructions under "Login/New Bidder" to provide us with your contact details, along with other important information to complete the absentee registration process.
Up to 24 hours before an auction, please fax the Bid Form to our office at 404.869.2489 or email it to Bid@AandOauctions.com. Any requests received less than 24 hours prior to an auction cannot be guaranteed to be processed.
FAQs Regarding Absentee and Phone Bidding
All Ahlers and Ogletree, Inc. auctions are governed by our Terms and Conditions of Sale as listed on the second page of the Bid Form. Please carefully read and understand these Terms and Conditions prior to placing any bids. Should you have any questions, please call 404.869.2478 or email Bid@AandOauctions.com.
All phone/absentee bids are handled as a courtesy to our customers, and are subject to all Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Buyer's Premiums: A per-lot buyer’s premium of 21% is added to the final hammer price. There is a 3% discount for check or cash payment. Georgia sales tax of 8% will be collected for those without a valid resale number on file.
Processing: Bids are processed in the order in which they are received and bid competitively during the sale.
For absentee bids, indicate your top US dollar limit--excluding the buyer's premium--for each lot. Bids will be executed at the lowest prices allowed by reserves and competing bids. In other words, if the lot sells for less than your maximum bid, then you would win the lot for less than your top bid. If you are the winning bidder, an invoice will be e-mailed to you within 3 days of auction completion.
For phone bids, please provide at least two phone numbers where you can be reached during the auction. During the auction, a staff member will call you approximately 3-5 lots before your item is scheduled to be sold. The staff member will relay your bids to the auctioneer at your discretion. If you are the winning bidder, an invoice will be e-mailed to you within 3 days of auction completion.
Liability: Ahlers and Ogletree, Inc. is not responsible for failure or any other error relating to the execution of any bids. Buyers assume full responsibility for the packing and shipping of any lots won at auction. Please see our list of preferred shippers to make arrangements.
